Our story

Years ago, Meme learned this recipe from a dear Korean friend, and that gift became the heart of this family business.

Every pancake is still made the way she was taught: fresh vegetables, a crispy batter and a savory soy sauce for dipping. Simple food that is equal parts comfort and connection.

Family owned and locally made, Meme's brings Korean street food flavor to the Covington Farmers Market every Saturday. Stop by the tent, grab a fresh pancake, and taste the story behind every bite.

What's in the pancakes?

Onion, zucchini, potato and carrot in a batter made with all-purpose flour and sea salt. They're served with Meme's Korean soy dipping sauce.

Are they vegetarian?

The pancake batter is just vegetables, flour and sea salt. The kimchi contains fish sauce, so it is not vegetarian. Ask us at the tent about how the pancakes are cooked if you have dietary needs.

What if you sell out?

It happens, especially later in the morning. Preorder by Friday at 6 PM and we'll set yours aside.

Do you ship or deliver?

Not right now. Everything is pickup at the Covington Farmers Market on Saturdays, or served on site when we cater your event.

Do you cater weddings?

Yes. We cater weddings, parties and events. Send a request through the catering form and we'll follow up with options.
